NFL Draft 2020: Complete first-round mock, post-free agency
The Denver Broncos are a continuous journey to get back to their Super Bowl contending ways. They have so many problems and positions that need to be filled. They picked up some key veterans for a lower price like running back Melvin Gordon and traded for cornerback A.J. Bouye.
The Broncos traded Emmanuel Sanders to the 49ers midseason last year. Now they need a No. 1 wide receiver for second-year quarterback Drew Lock. Henry Ruggs has never been the No. 1 receiver for the Crimson Tide but his impact on the team fulfills the need of a reliable target and could surprise people.
In the previous two seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Ruggs accounted for 18 touchdowns. What makes Ruggs a tough player to slow down is his speed that he can create separation from any different routes and length of the route.
