2. Ohio State: Running Back

Even without JK Dobbins next season to carry the football in Columbus, there’s no shortage of talent at Ohio State. First, Justin Fields will be back at quarterback. Second, they have nothing but speed at the receiver spot.

The question for the Buckeyes is, who will be RB1?

Master Teague had an outstanding true freshman season running for almost 800 yards and four touchdowns. It seemed as if he would take the mantle from the outgoing JK Dobbins.

There is some competition to be Ohio State’s RB1 already on the roster. Both DeMario McCall and Steele Chambers will vie for more carries next season. What adds spice to this competition is Oklahoma running back Trey Sermon is transferring to Columbus.

One has to wonder if next season is going to be a running back by committee or will one of these super-talented running backs will emerge as the top guy.
