UCLA gets a nice cupcake to start the year as New Mexico State finished the 2019 season with a 2-10 overall record. The Aggies were one of the worst teams in the nation and they started the season 0-9 before beating Incarnate Word and UTEP.

The Bruins will be in need of an easy win to start the season and ending the month of August with a comfortable win over the Aggies.

Final Score: New Mexico State 13, UCLA 37 (1-0)

No longer is Nick Rolovich roaming the sidelines at Hawaii, he’s actually at Washington State, replacing Mike Leach who went to Mississippi State.

While UCLA will still see Rolovich, the Bruins won’t catch him here and that’s good news for Chip Kelly as the Rainbow Warriors will be going through a rebuild — not that they were an elite program to begin with.

Playing in Hawaii won’t be easy, though, and this one will come down to the wire.

Final Score: UCLA 31, Hawaii 24 (2-0)
