While Oregon State was one of the bigger surprises in the Pac-12 last season, I just don’t see the Beavers repeating that success this time around, especially with Jake Luton gone.

The Beavers might be on the rise overall, but they’ll take a minor step back in 2020 and UCLA will be able to steal a win on the road to reach bowl eligibility for the first time in the Chip Kelly era.

Final Score: UCLA 34, Oregon State 28 (6-3, 3-3)

I told you that UCLA would see Nick Rolovich despite him not being at Hawaii as the first-year Washington State head coach will take over for Mike Leach.

Will the Cougars still be as competitive with Leach gone and Rolovich at the helm? Maybe not right away, but five the former Hawaii head coach some time and he’ll make the Cougars a contender in the Pac-12.

Don’t expect a miracle out of Washington State in 2020, though.

Final Score: Washington State 28, UCLA 35  (7-3, 4-3)
