Donovan Peoples-Jones has been a weapon for Michigan football the past several seasons. But can he make the jump to the pros?

The Michigan Wolverines are one of the hardest programs to discuss. They haven’t made it to the College Football Playoff nor the Big Ten title game since either of the two have been introduced but the Wolverines have posted three 10-win seasons since 2015. Yet, they’ve gone 1-4 in bowl games since Jim Harbaugh has taken over.

And while their defense has been impressive and one of the best in the country, their offense, though finding a spark late last season, has been inconsistent.

However, one of the more consistent weapons on that offense has been wide receiver, Donovan Peoples-Jones. In Peoples-Jones’ last two seasons with the Wolverines, he accounted for 1,050 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. He was also a key player on the Wolverines’ special teams, returning two touchdowns in his career.

These numbers don’t jump off the board, but the quarterback play at Michigan has been suspect and the play calling has had fans scratching their heads.

The 2020 NFL Draft is filled with talent at wide receiver but that doesn’t mean DPJ will have a hard time finding a home. Here’s everything you need to know about Peoples-Jones.
