This might shock people that Dorian Thompson-Robinson even made the list after he had a season with a bunch of turnovers. In fact, Kedon Slovis and Davis Mills could have a better year in 2020. There is just no denying that Thompson-Robinson is one of the most exciting players in the Pac-12 and I believe most of his potential is still untapped.

If you remember correctly, Thompson-Robinson only started one year in high school after sitting behind Tate Martell for three years. He is an extremely “new” quarterback in regards to feel and experience. After getting to UCLA, you can see how much he has grown in just the first two years under Chip Kelly.

This year, the Bruin defense should improve greatly and give DTR a much better chance to get comfortable and win some games in the blue and gold.

During Thompson-Robinson’s sophomore year, he was able to surpass 25 touchdowns but did have some issues turning the ball over. After looking into this further you would see that most of these turnovers came after trying to come from behind over the course of the game as the Bruins started opening up the offense more and more.

This should be patched up with the improved defense and DTR having another year under his belt could put them in the mix to win the Pac-12.
