Tennessee Football: Where will Vols prospects land in 2020 NFL Draft?
The Browns need hard nose football players to help stabilize their messy locker room. A late-round pick of Tennessee receiver Jauan Jennings would do that and give Baker Mayfield a weapon he can always count on.
At Tennessee, Jennings made 146 career catches for 2,153 yards and 18 touchdown catches. As a senior in 2019, he hauled in a career-best 59 catches for 968 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 51 rushing yards and a touchdown.
The 6-3 wideout showed off his ability to win jump balls several times in his college career including grabbing a hail marry as time expired to beat Georgia in 2016.
As a former captain of one of college football’s historic programs, Jennings would bring leadership and a weapon who can take some pressure off Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry to Cleveland.
Projection: Sixth round, No. 187 overall
