Alabama football has had plenty of great moments. After two rounds of voting, here are the Tide’s 16 greatest moments of the Nick Saban era.

We’ve spent the last few weeks focusing on Alabama football‘s greatest moments of the Nick Saban era. From championship runs to trolling quotes, the Tide have seen just about everything over the past decade or so.

With that being said, we’ve been voting on Twitter for the best moment. We started with 68, but we are finally down to 16 moments. Let’s look at the next round, starting with the first two regions.

1-seed 2nd and 26 vs. 5-seed “This is not the end. This is the beginning”

This is an iconic quote from Saban that sparked the dynasty, but the odds of it topping 2nd and 26 are just incredibly low. If we’re being honest, everyone ranked in this region of the bracket has an uphill climb. There is a reason that 2nd and 26 was my top overall seed, and it is being proven now.

3-seed Julio’s screen TD against LSU vs. 2-seed “The Drive”

This one will be interesting. They are both from early years of the Saban era, so there will be no recency bias. Perhaps people will vote for “The Drive” because it was in the Iron Bowl. If LSU wins, I’m sure the fact that Julio’s name is on the ballot will be a contending reason why.

1-seed Rocky Block vs. 5-seed UGA Blackout game

Rocky Block is an iconic moment for all Tide fans. Heck, it is the reason I became an Alabama fan in the first place. However, Scott Cochran made that UGA game famous with his quote about them wearing black to their own funeral. It was iconic. As iconic as Rocky Block? We’ll have to see.

2-seed Dareus’s pick 6 against Texas vs. 11-seed Dixieland Delight in 2014

Dixieland Delight is an absolute treasure for Tide fans. Many were in Bryant-Denny Stadium during the 2014 Iron Bowl and believed that it would be the last time the song was played. It’s thankfully back, but the 11-seed still remains in contention for top moments.
