DE. 4. player. 16. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Miami. Jonathan Garvin

Miami’s most NFL-ready and talented player is defensive end Jonathan Garvin. He arrived in South Beach in 2017 and showed flashes of his pass rush potential. He finished the season with only nine tackles and two sacks, but he made his effect on the game whenever he was in.

Garvin was elevated to starting in 2018 and despite Miami’s disappointing season, he finished with 60 tackles, five sacks and two forced fumbles. Expectations were high for his junior season in 2019, but he did not take as big of a leap as expected and he finished the year with 37 tackles, five sacks and two forced fumbles.

The Buffalo Bills already have an elite defense, but one spot that they are not as strong or deep at is edge rusher. Without a first-round pick, it will have to rely on using its later picks to fill some needs and Buffalo would be a good landing spot for Garvin. He has athleticism, speed and length at the edge position and I think he could become a key rotational piece for the Bills’ defense.

Projection: Fourth round (No. 128 overall)
