Pick Analysis. KJ Osborn. Miami. 6. player. Scouting Report. WR. 49

KJ Osborn was yet another one of the big names that Miami snagged from the transfer portal and he made a huge impact on and off the field. He transferred in from Buffalo and was instantly one of the most reliable options on the field for the Hurricanes. He finished the year with 50 catches for 547 yards and five touchdowns, and he did that with some very poor quarterback play.

Osborn has very reliable hands and is a very good short route runner with better speed than he was given credit for. He saw his stock rise a little bit at the NFL combine with his performance, running a 4.48 40-yard dash and a 37.5-inch vertical jump.

However, Osborn is not the best at creating separation and is not a very reliable deep threat, but I can see him carving out a role in the NFL because of his reliable hands and leadership abilities.

A team like the Green bay Packers could be a potential landing spot for Osborn. The Packers rely on multiple weapons and are in need of some new youthful playmakers and Osborn could give them that and he is also an experienced return man.

Projection: Sixth round (No. 209 overall)
