Four Mississippi State football players will likely hear their names called during the 2020 NFL Draft. Here’s where they may land.

Following a 10th straight bowl appearance, the Mississippi State Bulldogs will send a handful of prospects to the 2020 NFL Draft.

Up to four Bulldogs are expected to hear their names called between Thursday and Saturday, with two likely to come off the board in the first three rounds.

Here’s a look at some potential fits for the soon to be NFL Bulldogs.

Mississippi State’s top draft prospect is linebacker Willie Gay Jr. Gay made 99 total tackles for the Bulldogs in three seasons, with 11 coming for a loss.

Despite missing eight games due to an NCAA violation, Gay still made 3.5 tackles for a loss in 2019 and returned an interception for a 52-yard touchdown.

The 6-2 linebacker figures to be off the board in the second round and the Los Angeles Rams could be a logical fit. Los Angeles does not have a first-round pick and currently have no clear starter at middle linebacker.

Gay would earn a chance to compete right away and fill a major hole for a Rams team looking to get back to the postseason in 2020.

Projection: Second round (Rams)
