A handful of Missouri football stars will be selected during the 2020 NFL Draft. Here’s a look at where they may land come Thursday night.

Despite high expectations, the Missouri Tigers 2020 season did not go as planned as they finished the year 6-6 and were unable to go bowling due to an NCAA violation.

As a result, head coach Barry Odom was fired and a new era of Missouri Football will kickoff next Fall.

For some of the 2019 Tigers, they will not be part of the new era as they’re either graduated or NFL bound. Three in particular, are likely to hear their names called in the 2020 Draft.

Here’s a look at where Missouri’s NFL bound duo may land in the 2020 Draft.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IDL. Jordan Elliot. Missouri. 3. player. 50

The Tigers’ top draft prospect is defensive lineman Jordan Elliot. Elliot began his college career at Texas but transferred to Missouri, where he developed into one of the SEC’s top run-stoppers.

In 2019, Elliot was named first-team All-SEC after making 44 total tackles with 8.5 coming for a loss and 2.5 being sacks.

Even if Elliot falls to the third round as projected, he could land in a spot where he’d start right away if selected by the Detroit Lions. With Damon ‘Snacks’ Harrison gone, Detroit needs a second defensive tackle for their 4-3 scheme.

Elliot can plug that hole and lineup next to former first rounder Danny Shelton as the Lions look to slow down the likes of Aaron Jones and Dalvin Cook twice a year.

Projection: Third round, No. 85 overall (Lions)
