At 6-foot-7, 330 pounds, Yasir Durant is one of the largest humans in the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent two and a half seasons as Missouri’s starting left tackle and emerged as one of the best in the SEC.

Since he’s still a raw prospect, he figures to slide to day three and be taken by a team looking for depth. One that has established starters but needs protection is the Detroit Lions.

The Lions have Taylor Decker and Halapoulivaati Vaitai lined up to start at the tackle positions, but behind them, there isn’t much depth in case of injury. Durant could fill that void and develop behind the scenes to eventually compete for a starting role.

Projection: Fifth round, No. 166 overall (Lions)
