A handful of South Carolina football stars will become pros during the 2020 NFL Draft. Here’s where they may call their new football home.

Despite a 4-8 season in 2019, a handful of South Carolina Gamecocks are projected to hear their names called during this week’s 2020 NFL Draft.

At least four Gamecocks are expected to be selected with one a projected first round selection, another expected to on day two and two more on the draft’s final day.

Here’s a look at where the Gamecocks 2020 NFL Draft prospects may land.

Scouting Report. 1. Pick Analysis. IDL. South Carolina. Javon Kinlaw. player. 44

Defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw is a projected first-round draft choice. Kinlaw’s draft stock surged after a 2019 senior season that saw him record 30 total tackles with nine coming for a loss of gain and six being sacks. He also recovered two fumbles and defended two passes to earn first-team All-SEC honors.

Kinlaw would pair nicely next to Grady Jarrett in the Atlanta Falcons 4-3 defense. Atlanta’s defense will need to slow down Tom Brady and Drew Brees a combine four times next season as they look to get back to the postseason.

By pairing Kinlaw and Jarrett inside with Dante Fowler coming off the edge, the Falcons would have a defensive line that could hold running games in check and force teams’ to beat them through the air.

Projection: First round, No. 16 overall (Falcons)
