Scouting Report. EDGE. 5. 54. Pick Analysis. South Carolina. D.J. Wonnum. player

Six-foot-five edge rusher D.J. Wonnum will likely come off the board early on in Day 3 of the NFL draft. He recorded 14 sacks in four seasons with the Gamecocks, including 4.5 as a senior in 2019, to go along with 9.5 tackles for a loss.

Wonnum would fit as a rotational pass rusher with the defending NFC East Champion Eagles. The Eagles currently have veteran Brandon Graham and Derek Barnett as their primary pass rushers.

With Graham aging and Barnett still developing, Wonnum could join that rotation and give Philadelphia another pass rusher for offenses to scheme against.

Projection: Fifth round, No. 168 overall (Eagles)
