Clemson football has many players expected to be drafted this year. Where will they land in the draft and will they rise or fall?

Clemson is a bit of an anomaly when it comes to the draft. They are — in a particular kind of way — much like an NFL team. They have a smattering of stars such as Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne, and Isaiah Simmons who are mixed in with lunch pail guys.

Some so many players go to Clemson that never become NFL prospects. They are good college players and hit their ceiling while in college. Until recently, Clemson did not recruit on the level of Alabama, Ohio State and LSU.

So, why are they so successful?

Clemson develops players as well as any program in the country. They do an outstanding job of getting high-level three-stars and getting them bigger, stronger and faster. The four and five-star players they do recruit hit. Trevor Lawrence has lived up to his billing, and who could forget that defensive line from 2019?

Moving forward, you will see more players from Clemson in the NFL if their recruits from the last two cycles live up to their ranking and they pan out. This season, they have some high-round draft pics along with some players that will have a chance to make an NFL roster.

Here’s a look at where the Tigers may land in the 2020 NFL Draft.
