Draft Projection

K’Lavon Chaisson has seen his draft rise continuously from when the 2019 season ended to a few days before the 2020 NFL Draft. Pass rushers usually go in the first two rounds due to their impact in attacking the passing game.

Chaisson can find himself in the middle of the draft where the Atlanta Falcons with the 16th overall pick need to upgrade their front seven and find a new number pass rusher. The Dallas Cowboys with the 17th overall pick need to find talent at the secondary but could find themselves drafting Chaisson due to talent and their lack of options at secondary then their pick comes around.

The Miami Dolphins with the 18th and 26th overall pick could use talent at the outside linebacker position despite getting former New England Patriots outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy.

The Philadelphia Eagles can also find themselves acquiring Chaisson with their options at wide receivers taken before their turn. The Eagles have lost some impact players who can create a significant pass rush.

More importantly, the Eagles will need an efficient starter at the outside linebacker position. Chaisson can be that player for the Eagles to create a significant impact in defending the rushing game and passing game. He has the potential to be in the running for defensive rookie of the year for the Eagles.
