Purdue football has two draft-eligible prospects coming into the 2020 selection process. Where will the duo of Boilermakers land?

The Purdue Boilermakers did not have the type of season Jeff Brohm and the coaching staff anticipated. Few teams could survive the injuries sustained by the Boilers last season. They played hard through the injuries, but they still finished a disappointing 4-8.

There were some positives, however, to their difficult season. They got to play a lot of young talent, so Brohm and his coaching staff know what he has this season. One of the other bright spots was NFL prospect Brycen Hopkins who stepped up and had a huge senior season.

Analyzing the Boilermakers’ draft prospects was not difficult because they do not have many. It is not because Purdue lacks NFL-caliber talent, it is because they are young. They lose only nine starters from last year’s team.

Of the players from last year’s team, two are on the NFL’s radar. Elijah Sindelar might get an invite to a camp, but he is neither on the radar to get drafted nor is he a priority free agent. Brycen Hopkins and Markus Bailey are the lone Boilermakers who should get drafted.

Both prospects will be mid to late-round pics with an opportunity to make a roster. Brycen Hopkins has an opportunity to be a starter down the road.

Here’s where both prospects could be drafted.
