The Atlanta Falcons biggest need in the draft this season was at cornerback and that was evident by all of the rumors of a possible trade up for Jeff Okudah or CJ Henderson.

It was anyone’s guess who the third corner was going to be off the board and the Falcons decided to take Clemson’s AJ Terrell.
This is a reach because while there is some talent with Terrell, he gets beaten far too often, especially in the games against LSU and North Carolina.
Terrell has all the makings of being a press corner in the NFL, but you did not see that all the time while at Clemson and that kind of inconsistency worries me for someone who is going to be relied upon from his arrival in Atlanta due to the thin cornerback depth the Falcons have.
There were better cornerbacks on the board as well and that is why Terrell is a reach.
