There were several defensive prospects that were picked in the NFL draft. There are three likely candidates to win the Defensive Rookie of the year.

With the 2020 NFL Draft now concluded, the attention will now be turned to those prospects’ potential impact on their new NFL team. There were plenty of future defensive stars that were selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Overall, there were 125 defensive prospects selected in all seven rounds of the Draft.

These are players that were drafted to fit a certain role in an NFL defense. Some prospects have enough flexibility and versatility to make an impact in other areas on defense or special teams. Some players will make an immediate impact as starters.
