Texas A&M Football: Top 5 prospects for the 2021 NFL Draft
By Shelbie Warr
One of two receivers returning for their senior year, Jhamon Ausbon is poised to be a leader of the Aggie offense. He already led the team in 2019 with 66 receptions for 872 yards and five touchdowns. Now, he has a chance to be the star of the offense and to jump up on draft boards through the 2020 season.
Ausbon, who went to IMG Academy with Kellen Mond, has a good amount of chemistry with his quarterback and will likely once again be the team’s leading wideout in 2020.
His senior counterpart, Camron Buckley, has a lot more work to do before he finds his way onto any kind of draft board.
With only four touchdowns to his name in his career and none of those coming in the 2019 season, he needs a big senior season to be considered for a draft pick by any team. I think he will be a bit more involved in 2020, but he has to fight off some young guns who are buzzing to get involved in this offense.
