Senior linebacker Buddy Johnson, to me, may be the most draftable player on this team.

In 2019, he started all 13 games, leading the Aggie defense with 77 tackles and was third on the team with 9.5 tackles for loss. He also recovered a fumble and has one touchdown to his name.

Johnson is one of the leaders of the Aggie defense and has done a great job at doing just that — being a leader, a quality that will surely help him in the draft process.

Look for Johnson to really be a game-changer in 2020.

Between him and Anthony Hines III, this is an experienced set of linebackers that can easily help the young guns get up to speed and put this unit on the map in the SEC. While he may not be a first-round draft pick, he is going to be a guy that hears his name called during the 2021 NFL Draft and I have no question about that.
