3. Landon Young, OT

After posing the SEC’s top rushing attack, it’s no surprise much of Kentucky’s offensive line are considered quality NFL Draft prospects. Kentucky offensive tackle Landon Young is another rising Senior who should surely earn an NFL pay-day.

Young started for the Wildcats as a true-freshman in 2016 after being named the top offensive lineman in the U.S. Army All-American Game as a High School Senior. He posted 27 knockdown blocks for the Cats while helping block for Snell and Boom Williams, who were the only pair of teammates in the SEC to both run for 1,000 yards that season.

More from Kentucky Wildcats

In 2017 Young played in all 13 games and was set to play an even larger role on the offensive line in 2018 when adversity hit. Just days before the season opener, he suffered a torn ACL, which forced him to take a redshirt year.

The injury would prove to be just a small setback for Young as in 2019. He was named All-SEC Third Team after starting all 13 games and recording 64 knockdown blocks. In Kentucky’s Belk Bowl win over Virginia Tech, graded at 87 percent and played every snap as the Cats rushed for 331 yards and three touchdowns.

Off the field, Young was named captain of the 2019 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and was honored during the ESPN College Football Awards show.

At 6-foot-7, 321 pounds, Young has both height and length as a slimmer tackle. He will surely catch the eyes of NFL scouts and be a player teams’ want for both production on the field and work in. The community off the field.
