Arkansas football had a number of players selected in the 2020 NFL Draft despite having a two-win team but will the 2021 class have the same luck?

The Chad Morris era in Fayetteville has come to an end and while there may be a few mixed feelings with his departure, it was the best move for the program.

Fans wanted change for the better and they just didn’t see that fast enough with Morris and while he brought some energy and excitement at first, there just weren’t any results. He gives way to Sam Pittman, the former assistant at Georgia who was actually the offensive line coach with the Razorbacks from 2013-15 before leaving for Athens.

The excitement is back as Pittman brings his knowledge from SEC contention to Fayetteville and he’ll also have a solid staff of recruiters with him. He didn’t get to be the associate head coach for Kirby Smart by being a mediocre coach, and I think that’s why fans are so pumped.

Arkansas may not see the results right away, however. Morris was only able to put together a two-win season in 2019 and the Razorbacks even lost a few big pieces to the NFL such as Kamren Curl, De’Jon Harris and McTelvin Agim. Two of those guys were drafted while Harris signed with the Patriots after the seven-round process.

But who does that leave for Arkansas in 2020? Will the Razorbacks have any serious NFL draft prospects for 2021? There are a few Razorbacks who could hear their names called in the 2021 NFL Draft.
