It was a relatively quiet year for Florida State football players in the 2020 NFL Draft, but the 2021 class may be a little louder.

Florida State is headed into a new era for the second time in the past few years with Mike Norvell taking over for Willie Taggart who was let go midway through the 2019 season.

The Seminoles are trying to get back to the success they had under Jimbo Fisher when they won the national title and in order to do that, they must recruit at a high level like Clemson. The Tigers have been the class of the ACC for years now and Florida State has been chasing them without making up much ground.

Heading into the 2020 season, there’s hope for improvement, but no one is expecting Florida State to magically become an ACC champion overnight. It’ll take some work and time.

Florida State will also have some NFL talent helping the turnaround and after losing Cam Akers to the 2020 draft, there are still some guys who could go in 2021.

Who will be the Seminoles’ top prospects heading into the 2021 NFL Draft? Let’s just say there are a couple of future first-rounders that currently call Tallahassee home.
