Tennessee football will undoubtedly have more players drafted in 2021 than just the two from 2020. Here are the names to watch.

Only two Tennessee Volunteers were selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, which is a low number by Volunteers standards.

This number figures to go up however, as Tennessee won six straight games to finish the 2019 season 8-5 and with a Gator Bowl victory.

With several upperclassman returning, the Vols figure to send several of their players to NFL squads in 2021.

Here are the five Vols most likely to be selected during the 2021 NFL Draft.

5. Aubrey Solomon, DT

Aubrey Solomon played a key role in Tennessee’s bounce back 2019 to end their two-year streak without a bowl game.

Solomon kicked off his college career at Michigan, where in 2017, he played in 13 games as a true freshman recording 16 total tackles for the Wolverines. After playing just two games in 2018, Solomon decided to transfer to Tennessee, where he was granted a waiver for immediate eligibility.

In his first year on Rocky Top, Solomon made nine starts and played in 12 games in which he recorded 28 total tackles from his nose tackle position with four tackles for a loss, two sacks and recovered a fumble.

As a senior in 2020, Solomon will likely serve in a full-time starting role for the Vols. This will provide him more time to show off his 6-foot-5, 315-pound frame and prove himself worthy of an NFL draft selection next spring.
