Auburn Football: Top 3 Tiger prospects for 2021 NFL Draft
Auburn football had a great 2020 NFL Draft with six total players drafted. It looks to have a similar run with different talent in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The SEC had a huge 2020 NFL Draft with 63 total players in all seven rounds including 25 from the first two rounds.
The Auburn Tigers are no strangers to success in the NFL draft.
In the 2020 NFL Draft, Auburn had six players selected through all seven rounds including three in the top 50. The Tigers look to have another impressive showing when the 2021 NFL Draft starts on April of 2021.
Defensive tackle Derrick Brown was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. He was highest picked Auburn Tiger selected in the NFL draft since offensive tackle Greg Robinson was picked second overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. The Tigers also had cornerback Noah Igbinoghene selected 30th overall in the Miami Dolphins.
This season, the Tigers do not have a prospect that is considered one of the elite prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft. Several players will be considered highly-drafted prospects from the late first round to the third round.
Throughout the 2020 season, the Auburn Tigers will compete to attempt to take control of a tough but vulnerable SEC West.
