It seems like 20 years ago when Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book entered the game after Brandon Wimbush was struggling against Miami in the huge top-10 battle. Book proceeded to throw a pick-six right before the first half ended and the Hurricanes blew Notre Dame out 41-8.

Flash forward a couple of seasons and Book has improved tremendously since that game, leading Notre Dame to back-to-back 11-win seasons and guiding the Irish to the College Football Playoff in 2018.

Book has started every game the past two seasons for the Fighting Irish and had a very underrated season in 2019. He threw for over 3,000 yards last season and had 34 touchdowns to go along with that. He is a very poised player who does not turn the ball over much and that will be appealing to teams at the next level.

Book lacks elite arm talent to excel at the next level, but look for him to be a day two prospect heading into 2020 and watch to see if he can climb his way up the draft boards.
