Trevon Moehrig is the one of the best safeties in the country and people are finally starting to take notice. After a season in which he recorded 62 total tackles and four interceptions, Moehrig is ready to lead TCU in a turnaround and improve upon the 5-7 record that they had a year ago.

Moehrig has excellent size for a safety at 6-foot-2 and 208 pounds and has the ball skills of a defensive back and the tackling skills of a linebacker and that is what makes him such a great player.

I cannot emphasize enough how much of an impact versatile players can make on a defense and Patterson has one of the best in the country. ESPN ranked Moehrig as the best returning safety in the country and I think they are right about it.

Expect to hear Moehrig’s name early in the 2021 NFL Draft.
