Taulia Tagovailoa is leaving Tuscaloosa. Here are a couple of potential transfer destinations for the former Alabama football quarterback.

According to multiple reports, Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa has entered the transfer portal.

Taulia is the younger brother of former Alabama quarterback and national champion Tua Tagovailoa The younger Tagovailoa signed with Alabama as a four-star prospect in 2019. He appeared in three games last season, throwing for 100 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions.

With Mac Jones returning as the starter with two years of remaining eligibility, it appeared Tagovailoa would be stuck on the bench for at least two more seasons. Thus, it does not come as a huge surprise to see him leave Tuscaloosa with his brother off to Miami to play for the Dolphins and the starting job occupied.

Now, Tagovailoa will search for a school that will allow him to compete with a starting job quickly. He will likely have to sit out the 2020 season unless he’s granted a waiver, but he could compete at his new school as soon as 2021, which would likely be a year sooner than he would’ve at Alabama.

Here are three possible destinations for Tagovailoa.
