Like Sam Williams, Lakia Henry came to Ole Miss as a JUCO transfer and he was the No. 1 inside linebacker in the class from that level. He was the No. 3 JUCO prospect in the nation and chose Ole Miss over the likes of Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Texas, Tennessee and Arkansas.

Unlike Williams, Henry had one of the most productive seasons of any JUCO transfer in the country in 2019, leading Ole Miss in tackles with 87 to go along with 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack. He was one of the best defenders on the team and that won’t change heading into the 2020 season as a potential All-SEC player.

Henry didn’t quite get the respect he deserved on a national level because Ole Miss didn’t have the best defense out there, but that should all change under Lane Kiffin. This kid will be a household name by the 2021 NFL Draft.

Will he be a first-round guy? Probably not as he stands just 6-foot and weighs in at 235 pounds, but he could sneak into that Day 2 range if he improves on already-impressive numbers.

Watch out for Henry in 2020 because this kid has the talent to be special.
