Arizona State football had a first-round selection in 2020 with Brandon Aiyuk going to the 49ers. Who could be next to get drafted in 2021?

Herm Edwards has done a fantastic job with Arizona State in his short time in the desert. He looked like a questionable hire at the outset but he’s led the Sun Devils to back-to-back bowl games and has even had Arizona State ranked in each of his first two seasons.

In 2019, Arizona State went 8-5 and that win total was the most since a 10-win campaign in 2014 under Todd Graham.

Can Edwards follow the trend he’s on and improve by another win in 2020 to go 9-3 in the regular season or 9-4 overall? Heck, could he reach 10 wins and do something that hasn’t been done in Tempe is six years?

The talent is definitely there, and it’s easy to trust a head coach who has a knack for spotting future NFL players. Spending as much time as he did in the NFL gives him an advantage because recruits love playing for a guy who knows what it takes to get guys to the league. In two years, he’s sent four guys to the NFL draft but even more impressive, he’s had two first-round picks.

Both N’Keal Harry and Brandon Aiyuk were selected in the first round of their respective drafts and both could soon be star receivers in the NFL.

Which Sun Devils will be next to get drafted and will any go in round one?
