Boise State Football: Top 3 prospects for 2021 NFL Draft
Boise State had a pretty solid defense last season and that was in large part due to their secondary and one of the key members of that secondary was cornerback Jalen Walker.
Walker’s statistics are not eye-popping, but that is because Walker is a really underrated lockdown corner. He totaled 53 tackles with one interception last season and is just starting to get noticed around the country.
The senior defensive back probably had his best game last season against Colorado State when he totaled eight tackles and it really showed he was a complete corner with his run-stopping abilities.
Walker has good size for a NFL-style cornerback at 6-foot-0 and 180 pounds and length as well. Keep an eye on Walker as a sleeper prospect for day two of the NFL draft.
