Ever since UCF adopted a more passing centric attack in the last few years, they have not really had a big time running back, but that could change in 2020 with Otis Anderson.

Anderson has been a steady contributor since the time that he stepped on campus in 2017 and has had an impact as a runner and a receiver. Last season, Anderson set career highs in a lot of categories in 2019 when he finished the season with 113 carries for 726 yards and five touchdowns, while averaging 6.4 yards per carry.

He also plays a big part in UCF’s passing game and last season he had 31 receptions for 365 yards and three touchdowns. That kind of versatility will make him a popular prospect among pro teams, especially with how much running backs are used in the NFL today.

Anderson lacks ideal size at 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds which is on the lighter side.

If Anderson can improve on his rushing numbers and show he can carry the full load, he could be a sneaky day two prospect next year.
