Despite years of mediocrity and a coaching change this offseason, there are some NFL-worthy prospects for Boston College football for 2021.

Boston College seems light years from where they used to be when they were producing top-flight NFL talent such as Matt Ryan, Luke Kuechly, BJ Raji and Cliff Avril.

Years of mediocrity under former coaches Steve Addazio and Frank Spaziani have seen Boston College disappear behind powerhouses like Clemson and Florida State, and Boston College has not appeared in the ACC title game since 2008.

The Eagles are entering into a new era with Ohio State defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley taking over the program after commanding one of the best defensive units in all of college football last season. Hafley will need to do a good job on the recruiting trail in finding some hidden gems and coaching them up like Boston College has been known to do and that will be key to success like past teams in Chestnut Hill.

While the Eagles are likely not to have any first round picks in 2021, there are a couple of players that are flying under the radar heading into the season and those are the guys that I will be focusing on in this piece.
