Chip Kelly has sent four UCLA football players to the NFL over his two seasons as head coach of the program but will he match that in 2021?

Chip Kelly is facing a critical year in 2020. Miss a bowl game again or show no signs of improvement and he could very well be on his way out of town. This would come as a major shock because at the time of his hiring, he was considered a home run and could still very well lead UCLA to big things.

While things haven’t gone quite as planned for Kelly in his two seasons with the Bruins, the cupboard was left relatively bare with 18 players being drafted in the three years before his arrival — that’s a lot of departing talent.

In fact, the Bruins had lost two first-rounders before Kelly’s inaugural season which included star quarterback Josh Rosen.

Kelly only had one player selected in the NFL draft after his first season but that number grew to three in 2020. We could see even more Bruins head to the NFL after this season via the draft, but there are a few who stand out above the rest.

UCLA doesn’t have a ton of draft eligible skill position players who project as NFL draft picks, but don’t sleep on a breakout season from a kid like Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center.

Who are the Bruins’ top NFL draft prospects for 2021?
