Ohio State football was highly successful in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Buckeyes have some high-caliber talent for a great run in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Ohio State is an elite program both on the field and off the field. That was evident when the Buckeyes had 10 players selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. This was the second-most of all college teams that had players selected in the draft. Seven players were drafted within the first three rounds.

The 2021 NFL Draft is expected to have more great talent from Ohio State selected.

Ohio State is a program that consistently creates high-caliber NFL talent and becomes starters in the league. The Buckeyes were just behind the reigning national champs — LSU — in overall players picked in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Buckeyes had a strong start to the 2020 NFL Draft with defensive end Chase Young going second overall to the Redskins and cornerback Jeff Okudah drafted third overall by the Lions. The third Buckeye selected in the first round was cornerback Damon Arnette at 20th overall to the Raiders.

The Buckeyes are expected to be back in the College Football Playoff in 2020 as champions of the Big Ten. They are projected to get back in the playoff due to the high-caliber talent that is worthy of being drafted.

In fact, four Buckeyes are likely to be drafted in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft if it took place today.
