player. 821. . . . Kansas Jayhawks (2017). 3

Record: 1-11, 0-9 Big 12

As promised, the Jayhawks make a second appearance on this list for their horrendous 2011 season.

After a victory in their season opener against Southeast Missouri State, the Jayhawks did not even smell victory the rest of the season.

Kansas fell in embarrassing fashion to Central Michigan at home and lost by 12 to Ohio on the road to round out non-conference play. In the Big 12, Kansas never kept a game within one possession with their closest loss being a 30-20 defeat at home to Kansas State.

Among the ugly scores included a 41-3 loss to Oklahoma, a 65-19 loss to Texas Tech, a 45-0 loss to Iowa State and a 43-0 loss to TCU and a 38-9 loss to a Baylor team that also went 1-11.

In 10 games, quarterback Peyton Bender threw as many picks as he did touchdowns with 10 each while taking a brutal beating due to a lack of any sort of protection.

This miserable 2017 Jayhawks don’t take the worst Power Five team of the decade award but were the worst from the Big 12.
