Record: 1-11, 0-8 Big Ten

The 2011 Indiana Hoosiers earn the “honor” of the worst Power Five team of the past decade. Kevin Wilson’s first year in Bloomington is one that most have washed due to how pathetic it was.

It began with an ugly 27-20 loss to a Ball State at Lucas Oil Stadium, followed by a home loss to Virginia. After defeating FCS foe South Carolina State, the Hoosiers would never taste victory.

They fell to a North Texas team at home that wound up finishing their season 5-7. After a close loss of 16-10 to Penn State’s top open conference play, the season completely went off the rails.

Indiana fell 41-20 to Illinois, 59-7 to Wisconsin, 45-24 to Iowa, 59-38 to Northwestern and 55-3 to Michigan State in a season full of embarrassment.

The Hoosiers offense finished 102nd in the nation by scoring just 21.4 points per game and their defense finished 109th as they allowed 458.7 yards per game.

All adds up to the worst season of a Power Five program this decade.
