College Football: Ranking the 10 worst Power Five teams since 2010
Record: 2-10, 0-8 SEC
The 2011 Ole Miss season was a complete and utter disaster. Under head coach Houston Nutt, the Rebels won just two games with those coming over Southern Illinois and BYU. Those wins have since been vacated, but even if they weren’t, the Rebels would earn a spot on this list.
Among the worst losses of the season included a 30-7 loss to Vanderbilt, a 17-point loss to Kentucky, a 52-3 loss to LSU and a 31-3 loss to Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl.
The Rebels did keep a handful of games close, such as a 29-24 loss to then-ranked No. 10 Arkansas and a 14-point loss to Georgia, but for the most part, they did not belong on the same field as their SEC opponents.
An all-around embarrassing season in Oxford at a program well-respected nationwide is more than enough to earn a spot on this not-so-great list.
