College Football: Ranking the 10 worst Power Five teams since 2010
Record: 2-10, 0-8 SEC
The job Mark Stoops has done at Kentucky has made him one of the most respected coaches in the country. Thus, the fact his first team landed on this list should earn him even more praise given what he inherited in Lexington.
In 2013, Kentucky suffered a second straight 2-10 season and went winless in conference play. UK opened the season with a 35-24 loss to Western Kentucky but bounced back to beat Miami (OH) the following week.
The team kept Louisville, Florida and South Carolina all somewhat close, but then the season began to unravel.
They fell 48-7 to Alabama, 48-17 to Missouri, 22-6 to Vanderbilt and 59-17 to Georgia. Their second victory came against an FCS program in Alabama State.
The team struggled to find answers at quarterback as Jalen Whitlow and Maxwell Smith rotated under center, but both struggled to keep the team afloat.
While it was all uphill from here for the Wildcats, their 2013 season still earns the program a second spot on this list.
