After a successful 2020 NFL Draft, Alabama football will have a chance to eclipse their result with an even better 2021 NFL Draft class.

Alabama was one of the top college football programs in the nation before the arrival of Nick Saban. Since his arrival, he has significantly progressed the program into one of the most successful developers for NFL-caliber players.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Alabama Crimson Tide had nine players selected overall. This season, the Crimson Tide have a lot of talent to rely to attempt to back in the College Football Playoff.

Among the nine players selected players drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft were four players picked in the first round. All four of the players play on the offensive side of the ball and were selected within the top 15. Three more players were selected in the second round that played on the defensive side of the ball.

There are eight players on the Crimson Tide’s 2020 roster that are ranked within the top-28 of USA Today’s top-50 prospects for the 2021 NFL Draft. Five of the ranked players are on the offensive side of the ball, continuing the offensive powerhouse that the Tide turned into.

There are seven players within Athlon Sports’ top 50 prospects for the 2021 NFL Draft with players ranked within the top 21. The Tide will likely another set of nine players drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft and potentially more depending on how many players leave early after the 2020 season.
