After a breakthrough 2019 campaign and strong showing in the 2020 NFL Draft, let’s look at which Baylor football prospects will hear their names in 2021.

Last year was a good season to be a Baylor football fan, and this spring’s NFL draft was no different. What might be in store, then, for the Bears players who will go high in the 2021 NFL Draft?

The four Bears taken in the 2020 NFL Draft marked the program’s best output since 2016, when six Baylor players were drafted. This figure makes sense in the context of Baylor’s resurgence: last year’s 11-3 record marked the Bears’ highest win total since 2013 and 2014, which were both 11-win seasons.

Wide receiver Denzel Mims, a second-round pick (No. 59 overall to the Jets) became the highest Bears player selected since 2016, when fellow wideout Corey Coleman was drafted at No. 15 overall.

In the past decade, NFL teams have drafted five Bears in the first round. 32 Bears players in total have been drafted in that same span.

Which Bears players are most likely to be drafted in 2021?
