Dave Doeren and the Wolfpack might be gearing up for an ugly season after finishing 4-8 in 2019 which followed up back-to-back nine-win seasons. That’s what happens when your star quarterback leaves.

Still in the midst of quarterback issues and an offense that might not be competent again, the Wolfpack could be headed for another bowl-less season. That makes them the No. 9 team on Clemson’s schedule.

Jeff Hafley takes over a program that Steve Addazio drove into mediocrity for years. In fact, the Eagles have won 6-7 games in each season for the past four years and before that, they were just 3-9. It was time for a change and the former Ohio State assistant will be tasked with the turnaround.

It won’t be pretty in year one, though. I could see the Eagles being somewhat competitive, but implementing an entirely new system with a new quarterback could cause problems.

The only thing that could make this opponent potentially higher than No. 9 is the fact that it’s being played in Chestnut Hill.
