Miami football is off to a good start in 2021. Here are the top three remaining targets for the Hurricanes in the 2021 recruiting class.

Recruiting is arguably the biggest factor in building a quality championship-level college football program. It seems that every season, the teams at the top of the recruiting rankings are the teams that are fighting for playoff spots. Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, and LSU recruit as well as anyone in the entire country and they put results on the field.

The Miami Hurricanes are looking to climb back to the top of college football and they will need to do so first on the recruiting trail.

Last season, the Hurricanes had a poor year on the field, finishing 6-7, but they managed to finish with the 13th ranked recruiting class and pulled in some top talent such as the second-ranked safety in Avantae Williams, the No. 7 defensive end in Chantz Williams and a great running back duo for the future in the speedy Jaylan Knighton and Don Chaney Jr.

If the Hurricanes can manage to pull in a top 15 class after going only 6-7, imagine what Manny Diaz could do with a double-digit win season. Miami currently has the 15th-ranked recruiting and they will look to build on their already good class with some of the talented players that are still available.

Here’s who I consider to be the top targets for the Hurricanes in the 2021 recruiting class heading into the summer.
