Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 5. QB. 2006-09. Todd Reesing. player. 821

No quarterback in Kansas football history even comes close to matching the production of Todd Reesing.

Reesing is Kansas’ all-time passing leader with 11,194 yards and passing touchdown leader with 90. The next closest? Frank Seurer with 6,410 passing yards and Carter Stanley with 37 touchdown passes.

In 2007, Reesing led Kansas to a 12-1 season with their lone defeat coming to Missouri in their regular season finale. The Jayhawks earned a trip to the Orange Bowl, where they defeated Virginia Tech. He broke the Jayhawks’ single-season touchdown passing record that season with 33.

The following season, Reesing set the program’s single-season passing record with 3,888 yards and threw 32 touchdowns as he led the Jayhawks to an 8-5 season that ended with an Insight Bowl win over Minnesota.

Kansas has not been back to a bowl since Reesing left Lawerence which further proves the impact he made on a historically awful Kansas program.
