College Football: Projecting every 2020 College GameDay destination
Week 12: Cincinnati at UCF (Nov. 21)
With many Power Five programs playing their late-season “cupcake” game in Week 12, the College GameDay crew has the perfect excuse to give the American Athletic Conference some love by traveling to Orlando for what will likely be a division title game.
Last season the Cincinnati Bearcats ended UCF’s run atop the AAC East with a home victory. 2019 also marked the Knights’ first imperfect regular season in two seasons, but they still finished 10-3.
Cincinnati and UCF are again expected to be the two favorites to win the East and also likely to win the conference with defending conference champion Memphis having lost head coach Mike Norvell to Florida State and much of their 2019 production to the NFL.
Thus, there’s a good chance the winner of this late-season clash could go onto win the AAC and potentially earn a trip to a New Year’s Six Bowl. GameDay would be crazy to miss that.
Runner-up: LSU at Auburn
