Besides interest from fans, the non-conference schedule shows where teams stand before going into their all-important league games. Key victories can begin momentum for teams on their way to great seasons and heartbreaking losses can potentially turn your program into a disastrous situation.

Just ask schools such as Florida State, LSU and Michigan what big non-conference wins or losses can do to your season.

The 2020 season will be no different, providing some brand named matchups such as LSU-Texas, Ohio State-Oregon and Clemson-Notre Dame. While everyone has those games circled on their calendar, some of the lesser hyped non-conference games are still deserving of hype.
