3. Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia football

Georgia will be sporting one of the top secondaries in the country and Eric Stokes will be one of the biggest reasons why. He is one of the most underrated defenders in the entire country and is a sleeper to be a first-round NFL draft pick next April.

At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, Stokes possesses great size and athleticism and length for a big-time defensive back and he really came on in the 2019 season. He finished last season with 38 tackles and nine pass deflections and despite not having a career interception during his first two seasons in Athens, Stokes is a lockdown corner that likes to take on the opposing team’s best receiver.

Look for Stokes to build on last season’s success as he becomes one of the best corners in the country and earns his way onto the All-SEC team as a junior.

Cornerback will be a hotly-contested spot on the all-conference list in the SEC with guys like Derek Stingley and Patrick Surtain competing for those spots, but the sky is the limit for Stokes.
