The Tigers will open their title defense by hosting the University of Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners in Death Valley.

UTSA is coming off a 4-8 season that left them outside of a bowl game. The Roadrunners’ last trip to a bowl came in 2016 when they matched up with New Mexico in the New Mexico Bowl.

Like Rice, UTSA is a struggling Conference USA program, but under new head coach, Jeff Traylor are determined to improve their win total and will present new look schemes that will make them a bit challenging to plan against.

It’s been a rough couple of seasons for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Hogs have gone just 2-10 the past two seasons and have not won a conference game since they defeated Ole Miss in October of 2017.

With Chad Morris out of the picture, the Hogs are turning to players coach Sam Pittman to turn around their once-storied program.

While the Hogs are likely to improve under Pittman, it’s hard to imagine them taking a large jump in year one. They may be able to improve their win total and grab a conference win, but LSU probably won’t have to surrender the Golden Boot Trophy in 2020.
